28 Summers

28 Summers- Elin Hilderbrand

my review : ✮✮✮✮

Full disclosure: Elin Hilderbrand is one of my favorite authors. Simply put, I love the way she writes 💕 Naturally, this book did not disappoint. It’s a story of love and loss and joy and food (so much good food). Have you seen the movie This Time, Next Year? It’s the inspiration for this book. It literally made my heart swell. Like everything she writes, this story leaves me desperate for a trip to Nantucket. This book is what every beach read should be: compelling, hopeful, romantic, totally captivating, and tugs my damn heartstrings. Best paired with a very, very, chilled bottle of Sancerre

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • A classic beach read

  • the movie “This Time Next Year”

  • The island of Nantucket

my favorite quote:

““And the worst thing about being young is not being able to appreciate that you’re young because you aren’t old enough to know any better”
