First-Time Caller

First-Time Caller - B.K. Borison

my review : ✮✮✮✮

BK Borison, you’ve outdone yourself. Lovelight Farms has been my favorite book by BK until now! This Sleepless in Seattle-inspired story is a love letter to romance and all the fizzy, sparkly bits that come with it.

When Lucie finds her 12-year-old daughter on the phone late at night with the Baltimore romance show Heartstrings, she’s horrified. Is her dating life so bleak that her daughter sees no option but to call in? When Baltimore falls in love with Lucie’s late-night stream of consciousness to Aiden, the host of Heartstrings, she’s asked to cohost the show while he helps her find love. She’s a hopeless romantic, and he’s a (hot! broad-shouldered! muscly!) jaded radio host.

Dual POV is done very well! Brimming with tension, yearning, and hope. Sexy, slightly spicy, and majorly sweet.

I paired this book with a Gin & Tonic…. bonus points if you have the Thong Song playing in the background while you enjoy it!

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • Sleepless in Seattle

  • Dual POV

my favorite quote:

“Nah, Lucie, I think you’re the magic.”
