Say You'll Remember Me

Say You'll Remember Me - Abby Jimenez

my review : ✮✮✮✮

I love an Abby Jimenez romance novel, and this one was no exception. This book was chock-full of love in all of its messy glory. All kinds of love! Romantic love, familial love, platonic love. It felt like a real love story, not just because it didn’t have billionaire mob bosses and diamond-encrusted grand gestures. This book felt realistic because it’s rooted in challenges; it’s the kind of story that your neighbor might tell you when you ask them, “So, how did you meet?”. Despite the heaviness, I found this book to be life-affirming. It made me want to be better: a better daughter, friend, and wife. I love all types of love stories, and this one is no exception.

In this book, the love story feels like the simple part. Boy meets girl, they hit it off, and then she surprises him by moving to California the next day. The smart thing would be to forget each other, but… they can’t. The story follows their enduring love and the very real, very hard-to-read obstacles that they face. It made me laugh (actual, real laughter) and cry (actual, real tears). It’s closed-door, but you’ll still get butterflies.

P.S. Audiobook listeners, the male narrator’s voice is hot as hell.

you’ll love this book if you love:
