**BRAD: Beach Read After Dark

Q: What is a BRAD

A: a BRAD is a silly acronym I made up that has now become a worldwide phenomenon (just kidding 🤪) that stands for a Beach Read After Dark. It’s a beach read that’s light on the plot and heavy on the romance if you know what I mean 😉. If you’d like more info, I have a whole highlight dedicated to them ⬆️

Q: Why do you never post your BRADs on your Instagram grid?

A: Because they are not for everyone and contain very mature content, so I like to keep them in my stories + highlights.

But… every once in a while comes a BRAD that I feel like needs to be shared on the grid… and Scandalized is that BRAD (other notable BRADs: It Happened One Summer & Things We Never Got Over)

Our story is about Georgia Ross, an investigative journalist, who bumps into Alec Kim, an old family friend she hasn’t seen for over a decade. After a *memorable* 😏 night Georgia assumes she will never see Alec again while Alex has other plans. Little does she know, Alec is a mega-famous TV star whose life makes it virtually impossible for Alec to pursue anything resembling a normal relationship.

This book is what every BRAD should be: fun, sexy, and hard to put down. The dialogue was perfection, the characters were lovable, and the plot was anchored in reality (ish) 😂.

This book is a great beginner BRAD if you want to dip your toe into the genre. Proceed with caution, though, because the content is mature!
