November 9 - Colleen Hoover
my review : ✮✮✮
Hello! I am nervous to review this Colleen Hoover book. I know so many of you adore her, and that makes me happy! But this book wasn’t my favorite.
I found this to be a quick and engrossing read from the queen of the plot twist, Colleen Hoover. At times this book felt a bit YA to me? But I enjoyed getting lost in this story. I love “this time next year” stories, so this was right up my alley.
Fallon meets Ben the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their instant attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in LA together, and their story serves as the inspiration Ben needs for his novel. Given the instant connection, Ben and Fallon agree to meet on the same date every year for the next five years, but every other day of the year, they will have no communication with each other. Until one day, Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality suspended on their yearly date.
If you are a Colleen Hoover stan, you probably have already read this (many times!) and adore it. If you’re new to the world of Colleen Hoover, I would start with Reminders of Him (my personal favorite). I truly think Colleen Hoover’s books get better with each of her releases. I will say this is a good book to get you out of a reading slump.

my favorite quote:
“When you find love, you take it. You grab it with both hands and you do everything in your power not to let it go. You can’t just walk away from it and expect it to linger until you’re ready for it.”
