Kiss the Girl

Kiss the Girl - Melanie Bennett Jacobson

my review : ✮✮✮

Fake Dating! A trope I hate to love. Somehow, this one missed the mark for me. Maybe I am getting a little burnt out on holiday romances (that feels like a crime to even say!)? I liked the premise of this, it was enjoyable to read, but honestly the story was kind of forgettable.

This story is about a girl who returns home to her small town to take over her dad’s hardware store while he struggles with health issues. She soon meets a very cute high school teacher who she immediately friend-zones because she is not staying in her small town for long. Soon after, they decide to fake date as he wants to become the head football coach and has to prove to his boss he is not a flight risk. If you’ve ever read a fake dating romance- you know where this is going 😉

Overall, this is another sweet and wholesome Hallmark movie Holiday read.
