Before We Were Strangers

Before We Were Strangers - Renée Carlino

my review : ✮✮✮✮✮

This book is a 💫whirlwind💫

❕❕❕ read this if you like a good romance novel... this will tug your heartstrings.

I dare you to not tear through this in one sitting. My heart is heavy in the best way 💗

This is a modern romance story about a Craigslist “Missed Connections” post that gives a couple a second chance at love 15 years later.

I think if you love In Five Years, you will enjoy this one.

Best enjoyed with a Manhattan.

If you read plz let me know! I want to discuss.

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • In Five Years (but wayyy better)

  • A romance that will (seriously) tug at your heartstrings

  • Past and present POV’s that will have you incredibly invested in these characters & make the novel impossible to put down

  • Feeling lovesick

my favorite quote:

“And in that moment, you realize how little control you have over your own destiny. From the time you're born, you have no control; you can't choose your parents, and, unless you're suicidal, you can't choose your death. The only thing you can do is choose the person you love, be kind to others, and make your brutally short stint on earth as pleasant as possible.”
