Smart, sexy, and laugh-out-loud funny. I had a wonderful time reading this book! I was totally charmed by this story.

Anna Appleby is a mom of 2 who’s just finalized her divorce and is trying to hold on to her magazine column that her work rival (👀) is vying for. In an effort to keep it, she pitches a concept that has her majorly outside of her comfort zone. She will write about one date weekly, and her children will choose these dates.

Brimming with some of my favorite tropes (which I won’t mention as that will be a bit of a spoiler), I had a delightful time reading this. Each chapter starts with a few things Anna has Googled recently, and I found this to be very clever and funny. Fans of Sophie Kinsella & Annabel Monaghan will adore this book. I appreciated this story about a 38-year-old woman as it’s so rare to read about a leading lady over 30!
