Business Casual - B.K. Borison

my review : ✮✮✮✮

Just put my house up for sale so I could move to Inglewild. Please direct all BR&B mail to Lovelight Farms! The Lovelight Farm world is cozy, small town perfection. I read the first book in the series and was obsessed with it, but I never picked up the rest of the books because I (mistakenly) thought they all were Christmas-themed (and I have a very strict rule about reading seasonal books during their appropriate season!). Turns out I am a dope and have been majorly missing out. This book is the fourth and final in the series and can technically be read standalone, but I wish I had read them in order. I will be going back to read them all at some point (the TBR pile grows!).

This book provides the fall backdrop I crave—brown sugar lattes, harvest festivals, and chilly nights—and is definitely in B.R.A.D. territory! This is a love story between Nova, the gorgeous, brilliant, tattooed owner of Ink & Wild, and Charlie, the wealthy, corporate suit-wearing, soft gooey-hearted hottie. This book is dual POV, friends to lovers-ish , and simultaneously sweet and sexy.

The book kicks off with an autumn wedding where apple cider is spiked with moonshine, and our leading couple figures out they have the hots for each other. I can’t get my hands on moonshine, so I am going to use @lemontreecathy’s Spiked Apple Cider recipe!

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • Small towns

  • All things fall

  • A soft gooey-hearted hottie
