A Very Merry Bromance

A Very Merry Bromance - Lyssa Kay Adams

my review : ✮✮✮✮

Another fabulous, festive read! This is the fifth book in the Bromance series, but it can totally be read as a standalone. The Bromance Bookclub world is truly the most endearing concept ever: a group of men formed a book club where they read romance novels to help them understand/win over the women of their lives and be the best partners ever. I would literally die if my husband did this.

This book is a second chance romance starring THE hottest country music star, Colton Wheeler, and incredible immigration attorney, Gretchen. Colton and Gretchen shared one passionate night a year ago that ended with Gretchen running out on Colton, and they haven’t seen each other since. Colton’s career has been a bit sluggish lately, and he can’t seem to get Gretchen off his mind. Gretchen spends her days as an immigration attorney fighting for the rights of the most vulnerable and her nights doing her best not to think about Colton. Gretchen has always been a bit Scrooge-ish about Christmas, given her line of work, but when her estranged, wealthy family reaches out with an offer that will allow her to better serve the community, she’s unable to say no. She just needs to convince Colton to be the new face of her family’s whiskey brand. Colton agrees to consider Gretchen’s offer in exchange for three dates before Christmas. The rest is magical Christmas bliss…

This book was full of heart, humor, and some steam. I just adored Colton, Gretchen drove me nuts at times, but I am sure I drive people nuts at times too, so who the heck am I to judge?! Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a festive, second-chance romance!

Best paired with @halfbakedharvest’s sparkling Christmas party punch 💫 🌲 🎅
