I think if this was one book, it would have been a five-star BRAD, but book 2 dragged a bit. Still, I'm obsessed. I was not obsessed with the pregnancy of it all, that is by far my least favorite trope! The whole premise of this book is that our leading lady had a (hot) one-night stand, gets preggers, and realizes the daddy is the don of the Russian mafia, and he's like, we have traditions and customs we must get married. It's fun, it's hot, it's toxic, the stakes are high!!! Idk what's wrong with me, but I love when the leading woman's life is in peril and the leading man is stressed TF out about it. If you're new to mafia romances, do not go into them looking for a healthy relationship !!
