Abby Jimenez knows how to write a romance!

What I love about her novels is she can write a passionate romance while also tackling heavy issues. She’s mastered the most delicate balance.

This novel follows Vanessa, who has found fame living life to the fullest and documenting it all on YouTube. After becoming the sole guardian for her sister’s baby, her life takes a drastic turn. With her travel halted she’s confined to her apartment for the first time…. Ever? Enter: her hot lawyer neighbor who is also a baby whisperer.

I will warn you ALS is mentioned pretty heavily throughout and if you or anyone you know has struggled with ALS this will hit pretty close to home.

You will laugh and cry. I love every book Abby writes. This one in particular makes you want to quit your job and kiss your crush because LIFE IS TOO SHORT.
