The Cheat Sheet

The Cheat Sheet - Sarah Adams

my review : ✮✮✮✮

The Super Bowl inspired me to read a football romance (and it inspired my mental casting of said romance, check highlights), and this did not disappoint! Truly everything I could want in a rom-com. Ok, maybe not everything (this could really benefit from being a B.R.A.D), but close enough! This week has been heavy & hard, and this book was truly the greatest escape imaginable.

I smiled, blushed, and giggled so much while reading this book I think my husband was jealous of it.

Our story is about two best friends. One is a famous NFL QB, and the other is a super-talented ballerina…. adorable right!? They’ve been best friends since high school, although Bree has been in love with him since pretty much the moment they met. They’ve been stuck firmly in the friend zone until one viral video forces them to fake date. Could this be the push they finally need to get together?!

I think there’s something lovely about reading a story that you know will have a happy ending. Some may chalk it up to being predictable, but I relish the expected outcome! I read this book slowly to savor the sweetness.

Guys, I just loved it. Don't even think twice if you want a quick, adorable rom-com.

This is my first book by Sarah Adams and will certainly not be the last! I love the banter, humor, and heart in this book. It’s hard to make a closed-door romance sexy, but she does it well!

Best paired with @marthastewart’s tequila touchdown 🏈 cocktail ( OJ + tequila + fresh lemon juice)!

you’ll love this book if you love:

  • Clean romance!

  • Friends —> Lovers!

  • Dual POV (done well)!

  • Fake relationship!
